KLM Economy Comfort Zone
Travellers can choose seats with extra comfort on all intercontinental KLM flights in Economy Class.
This Economy Comfort Zone offers up to ten centimetres of more legroom and the back-rest of the chair can go back twice as far.
Economy Comfort passengers can leave the plane earlier after landing because the zone is located in the front of the economy class.
The extra fee for a seat in the new zone is between € 80 and € 150 Euro for a one-way trip, depending on the distance of travel.
Flying Blue Platinum participants and travellers with a full flex Economy Class ticket can reserve Economy Comfort at no extra charge. Flying Blue Gold participants receive 50% discount and Flying Blue Silver participants receive 25% discount.
Service in Economy Comfort is the same as in the regular Economy Class.
You can reserve an Economy Comfort seat between 90 days to 1 hour before departure. You only need a credit card. The extra fees you pay by credit card.
You can make reservations in the following way:
1 - 90 Days before departure via "Manage my Booking" on www.klm.nl
2 - During online check in, from 30 hours to 1 hour before departure.
3 - At the self-service check-in or transfer machines on Schiphol.
4 - By phone at the Air France KLM Sales and Service Centres, from 90 days to 48 hours before departure.
5 - At the self-service check-in or transfer machines on Schiphol up to 1 hour before departure (soon available on other airports. At other airports you can direct yourself to the check-in desk.
