Somalisa Camp

A small intimate tented camp tucked away subtly under a canopy of an acacia tree island on an ancient river system, located in the heart of the Hwange National Park.

Somalisa Camp is an authentic bush camp, a blend of old African charm and elegance together with an exclusive safari experience.
Only six elegantly furnished canvas tents with en suite bathrooms, flush toilet and romantic alfresco bush shower make up this camp.

Facilities include main area with library, sitting area, dining table, swimming pool and a platform under a canopy of trees with a stunning view of the surrounding area. Here you can relax after a day of game viewing.

The meals offered are prepared in traditional style, balancing organic produce with gourmet dishes, complemented by a choice of South African and Australian wines. All meals are inspired by the Far East, Europe and Africa. You will discover new and seasonal flavours, which our imaginative chef will present you with.

Activities include guided walks and game drives. All activities are lead by qualified and passionate guides who will share their knowledge and love of the bush with you.
