Ant's Hill
Ant's Hill is located in the malaria free Waterberg Wilderness Reserve, 10 km north of Vaalwater. It is built on the edge of a cliff with breathtaking views of the Waterberg. There is a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
It is an ideal place to get away from civilisation and to enjoy the boundless hospitality of the staff. Only 1 booking at a time is done to assure you the best personal service, total flexibility and with absolute privacy. Ideal for groups and families with children.
The thatched lodge (up to 12 people) lies hidden in the woods. It has a library and a souvenir shop. The spacious rooms have doors opening to a beautiful veranda, and comes in African style and are equipped with many comforts. You can relax in the heated pool which lies between the rocks of the cliff. The water flows over the edge into a ravine.
Activities
Activities offered by the lodge include horse riding, walking safaris led by a guide, game drive in an open 4x4 Land Rover and various local tours.
There is a special family safari that can be organized with an emphasis on children.
