Ant’s Nest
Ant's Nest is situated in the malaria free Waterberg Wilderness Reserve, 10 km north of Vaalwater. The original homestead has wide verandas and stylish comfortable furnishings, along with a traditional African look.
It is an ideal place to get away from civilization and to enjoy the boundless hospitality of the staff. Only 1 booking at a time is done to assure you the best personal service, total flexibility and with absolute privacy. Ideal for groups and families with children.
The en-suite rooms can house a maximum of just 12 guests. There is a large 15 meter heated pool in the garden, ideal for those who need some exercise and / or great for kids. Extensive lawns with native plants surround the pool and house, and a beautiful pool of water at the front of the house where horses and dogs roam abundantly.
Activities
Activities offered by the lodge include horse riding, walking safaris led by a guide, game drive in an open 4x4 Land Rover and various local tours.
There is a special family safari that can be organised with an emphasis on children.
