Birkenhead House has 11 rooms, all individually decorated and vary in size and view. Rooms 4, 10 and 11 are the 'simplest' rooms, followed then by rooms 2, 3, 7 and 9 and the most luxurious rooms 5, 6 and 8. Room 1 is the honeymoon suite. Rooms 5, 7, 8 and 11 have no sea view.

After a day of sightseeing you can indulge yourself in the spa, with a choice of different massages, aromatherapy and reflexology. Thereafter, in the fitness room and steam room you can keep your body in good shape. If you want to move around more, you can walk an hour and a half along the coast to the centre of Hermanus (8 km).
