Delaire Graff Estate Vineyard
Delaire Estate is situated on the highest crest of the Helshoogte Mountain Pass. The excellent soil of the rich water holding ground, and a cooling riping delaying sea breeze between 300 to 500 meters above sea level, lead to perfect conditions for viticulture.
Add to this the brand new and one of the most modern wine cellars in the southern hemisphere (processing 230 tons of grapes!), and nothing will stop a guaranteed yearly improvement of the Delaire wines. During an excursion under the guidance of the winemaker, you will visit the wine cellars after which you can judge these fantastic wines during wine tasting.

Delaire Wines
In essence, Delaire makes elegant red wines that stand out, thanks to their sturdy fruit but supple tannin structure. The white wines are impressive because of their fraîcheur, which is the result from the very slow ripening of the grapes. This means that at Delaire the grapes are picked three weeks later than in other regions of Stellenbosch, with all the combined risks.
