Giraffe Manor
The Giraffe Manor is a small exclusive accommodation at approximately 30 minutes from Nairobi. The Giraffe Manor began as a country-house of Jock Leslie-Melvill and his wife Betty, where she has moved two endangered baby Rothschild giraffe.
After the death of her husband, Betty opened the doors of the country-house for guests. This promised to be a very unique experience, a population of Rothschild giraffes have settled there permanently around the Manor. Here, you can feed the giraffes and photograph at the breakfast table, at the front door or even from out of your bedroom window. A visit to the Giraffe Centre is certainly worthwhile. The accommodation is situated on 140 hectares of African nature, where you can enjoy yourself to the fullest.
The Giraffe Manor has completely been refurbished recently, but the ambiance of before still remains...
