Nyerere National Park
Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve) is the largest protected wildlife area of Africa and in area is larger than Switzerland. The area is pristine and some places has seen man before.
The landscape is very diverse and magical, with volcanic hot springs, lakes, savannas, forests and rocks. Selous is named after the famous elephant hunter Frederick Courtney Selous (1930). You can also see large numbers of elephants as well as lions, cheetahs, rhinos, antelopes, monkeys and more than 440 different species of birds.
The absolute pinnacle of your stay in the Nyerere National Park is a river expedition by boat, while enjoying the stunning surroundings you will see large numbers of hippos, crocodiles and antelopes grazing in the fields.
After your safari, relax on the veranda of your comfortable tent camp, beautifully situated on the banks of the River. When the sun sets and an orange glow colours the landscape, the animals come to the banks of the river to drink before nightfall.

Fly Camping
In Nyerere National Park you have the option of fly camping, you go out a few days with a guide through the park and sleep in small tents beneath the stunning stars.
