Tintswalo Safari Lodge
The Tintswalo Safari Lodge consists of seven exclusive suites situated at the shores of the Nwaswitsontso river (which stands dry during some seasons), each individually furnished in 19th century African explorers style.
The lodge lies in the Manyeleti Wildpark, north of the Timbavati Reserve and south of the Savi Sand Reserve, and borders the Kruger park. The suites are interconnected with the common areas (including a spa) by wooden scaffolds. From the central area you overlook a waterhole where animals regularly come to drink.
Suites
The luxurious and well-equipped suites, all named after the great African explorers, have air conditioning, a spacious bathroom with bath, an indoor and outdoor shower, telephone, hair dryer, mosquito net, fan, private plunge pool and a large terrace.
Tintswalo Manor House
The Manor House lies on approximately a 5 minute drive from the Safari Lodge. It is quite a thatched villa with a swimming pool and a traditional boma.
This accommodation is especially suited for a group of family consisting of 6 to 10 people. Staff is available and you have access to your own safari vehicle, guide and tracker.
On the ground floor there are 3 en-suite 2-person rooms with air conditioning. One of these suites also has a kids room adjacent. On the 1st floor there is a large 2-person room with a splendid view over the surrounding bushes.
Dinner is served on the patio or in the boma under the stars.
Guests of the Tintswalo Manor House can also use the spa at the Tintswalo Safari Lodge.
Activities
Activities include game drives with open land Rovers, during day or night, and hiking safaris in the area. All activities are supervised by experienced rangers and trackers.
During the safaris you can enjoy the mani different animals in this area, including the Big Five and a great diversity of birds. This untamed region guarantees an unforgettable and authentic safari experience.
