The Motse ('village' in Twana) is a small scaled lodge, situated at the foot of the Koranna mountain in the rough, dry but beautiful landscape of the Tswalu Kalahari Private Game Reserve.

The 9 thatched luxurious 'Legae's' (cottages) are built of natural minerals. Each cottage has a spacious bedroom with a fireplace, changing room, en-suite bathroom (bath & shower), outside shower and a veranda. In the main building there is a nice lounge, from where you have access to a large veranda with a swimming pool. From here you have a wonderful panoramic view over a nearby waterhole.

In the diner you can enjoy a splendid menu. You can also choose to have a romantic diner in your own Legae, in the traditional African Boma, or on a sand dune in the surroundings.
Furthermore the Motsi has a spa, fitness area, library and a small souvenir shop.

Three of the nine Legae's offer space for 4 people: recommended for a family with kids! A day care is available. There are also activities especially organized for the kids, where they will learn more about the animals, plants and birds.
