Zanzibar

The mystical and exotic herb island Zanzibar, with its pearl white beaches and azure blue sea, is an ideal dream destination to find peace and quiet after the overwhelming experiences of a safari in Tanzania or for a great relaxing vacation, honeymoon or short break.

The Arabs of the 18th century were the first inhabitants of the island and traded in ivory, animal hides, herbs, spices and slaves. The Moorish influences can still be found in the deserted harems, mosques and houses, which are decorated with professional woodworks. You can still taste a real eastern atmosphere in Zanzibar... When you go on a tour yourself through Stone Town (the capitol), or take a tour along the herb gardens, you will learn much about the mystical past of Zanzibar.

In the middle of the island the true nature lovers can find the tropical Jozani Forest, home to the very rare red colobus monkey and the mangroves.

When you open the doors of your room the beach lies at your feet, the mild, cooling south-east winds touch the warm water surface of the large Indian Ocean and let you enjoy permanent nice weather.
In short, Zanzibar is paradise on earth...

Underwater world

The magnificent underwater world of Zanzibar is a true divers paradise and a boat-trip with a traditional dhow to 'turtle island' or swimming with dolphins are some of the possibilities.
