Entebbe

This suburb of Kampala is located on Lake Victoria, about 35 kilometers from the capital. The international airport is located here.

It is a relaxed city with a colonial history. It used to be the seat of the government, some ministries have remained in Entebbe.
Worth seeing are the botanical gardens, the characteristic cityscape and the Entebbe Wildlife Educational Center, a zoo that has been modernized with the help of international funds and where many birds and chimpanzees can be seen.
