Greystoke Mahale
A stay in Greystoke is an adventure in itself, thanks to the owners, Zoe and Roland Purcell, who created such an atmosphere: it has charisma, style and radiates fun.
Greystoke was the first camp to be in the reserve and Zoe has thus chosen a prime location: a small bay lined with palm trees and flanked with forest on the hills of Mahale where the chimpanzees live.
There are six 2-person tents under palm trees, simple but nicely furnished. The bathroom is behind the tent and there is a structure of grass and reed. Electricity through solar energy.
