Jack's Camp
Jack's Camp is a nostalgic and luxury safari camp in the old style (1920's), in the vast Makgadikgadi nature park salt plains in the Kalahari.
The 10 tents are privately situated among palm trees on wooden platforms and all are equipped with comfortable beds and colonial decor. Instead of modern air conditioning, the swaying of the African palm trees will cool you off while you shower in the open air under their foliage. Until you are expected for high tea from 16:30.
You usually eat outside in the shade of a tree. An ideal place to experience the atmosphere and to explore the area from here on. A stay at Jack's Camp is the ultimate desert experience...
Activities consists of quad biking over the salt plains (during the dry season), walking safaris with the San (Bushman) guides, meetings with a meerkat family and an exclusive opportunity to see one of Africa's most rarest predators, the brown hyena.
