Lazy Lagoon
Lazy Lagoon is a private island off the coast of the former capital Bagomoyo. It is an ideal and exclusive place to come by for your safari.
You reach the accommodation through an adventurous journey of 20 minutes in a small wooden motorboat. The child-friendly and small scale accommodation (twelve large bandas) has 9km of pearl-white private beaches, ideal for swimming, snorkelling and other water sport activities. The island is surrounded by coral reef. You can explore, by kayak or sailboat, the mangrove forest and the lagoon, where snorkelling can also be done. At the reception, you can also book a diving excursion. Lazy Lagoon is a place of absolute peace and pure enjoyment...
A trip by an Arab Dhow to the nearby coral reefs or historic trips to the Kaole ruins and to Bagamoyo (slave town), can be arranged by a separate payment.
