Mkulumadzi Lodge

The lodge can be reached via a wooden footbridge over the river. The 8 luxurious open chalets have a lounge, en-suite bathroom, outdoor shower and a large private veranda. If desired, you can close your open chalet with canvas cloths. You can look out over the river from your spacious bedroom and lounge. The chalets are hidden by the banks of the Shire River under the mango and leadwood trees.
The central part of the Mkulumadzi Lodge features a restaurant, a lounge with terrace, a bar, a swimming pool with sunbeds and a small souvenir shop.
There is no WiFi and mobile phone reception.

Various activities are offered, including game drives in open safari vehicles, boat safaris on the Shire River, walking safaris with a ranger accompanied, guided hikes to the top of the Majete Hills and Kapichira Falls, rhino tracking and a visit to a local village .
