Murchison Falls National Park

This game park with its 3850 km2 is the largest of Uganda and is about 6 hours driving from Kampala.

The Nile steams from east to west with wild rapids and waterfalls and divides the park in two. In the largest waterfall the water pumps through a seven meters wide gap in the rocks and crashes spectacularly with thundering noise down forty meters.
During a cruise on the Nile you will see large herds of hippos and crocodiles that lurk. The water is full of the Nile perch and tiger fish.

In the rest of the park you can meet with chimpanzees, elephants, buffalos and antelopes, but you can also see many birds such as osprey, king fishers and bee-eaters.
