Shanti Maurice

The beautiful Shanti Maurice, on the south coast between the mountains and the Indian Ocean, was built with local materials and therefore exudes the atmosphere of the authentic Mauritius, but with the luxurious comfort of the present day.

This beautiful property is surrounded by 14 acres of tropical gardens, where also the famous Nira Spa is located.

The 61 spacious suites and private villas are located in a tropical garden along the beach and therefore all have sea view. All are equipped with a large double bed, spacious bathroom, separate dressing area and a private terrace.
Besides the Junior Suites, each grouped into 4 individual villas with 2 levels, the Luxury Villas also have a large private heated pool, private garden with a private pavilion for dining or relaxing. The Luxury Suite Villas have an extra large dining room and the Luxury 2 bedroom Villas (Family Villas) have an extra room and Jacuzzi.
The spacious Shant Villa (800 m²) has 3 bedrooms, private terraces and gardens and a swimming pool with integrated Jacuzzi.

Facilities

Shanti Maurice has several restaurants with international, Indian, South African and local cuisines. In these restaurants and in the bars you can also enjoy carefully selected South African wines, but also local rums and beers.
There is also a library, boutique, laundry service and a kids club for children between 4 and 12 years with pool.
The Nira Spa include ESPA beauty treatments which combines Indian treatments (based on ayurveda and yoga) with meditation techniques, thalasso therapy, aromatherapy and contemporary programs for wellness and anti-stress. There is also a beauty and hair salon.
