Thorntree River Lodge
Thorntree River Lodge is located inside the Oa Tunya National Park, 12.5 km from Livingstone, a few kilometres upstream from the famous Victoria Falls. It offers a riveting bush experience with breathtaking views over the Zambezi River.
Each of the eight spacious rooms overlook the Zambezi River. Enjoy the African bush and Zambezi River from your own covered verandah with plunge pool. All rooms offer bathroom en-suite facilities and are designed with comfort and space in mind.
Meals are served al fresco African style, quietly under the stars on a private and secluded section overlooking the river, or in the main lodge.

Thorntree River Lodge offers several activities: personal encounters with elephants; cruises on the Lady Livingstone, a three-decker vessel perfect for viewing hippos and crocodiles; walks with lions in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and Masuwe Estate; hikes in the rainforest; helicopter 'Flight of Angels' trips with fabulous vistas of the falls, river and its many islands; picnics on Livingstone Island; game drives, canoeing, white water rafting, kayaking, abseiling, and bungee jumping.
