Matemwe Retreat

Matemwe Retreat consists of 4 separate villas, situated on a private beach by the Matemwe Lodge and Matemwe Beach House, a luxurious 6-person villa. Full of rich atmosphere and personal elements and is directly opposite the Mnemba Atoll.

The ground floor (150 m2) features a one bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower, and a large veranda with bar. As you sit in a large romantic bath, you have a view over the Indian Ocean. There is a terrace (partially covered) on the top floor with a plunge pool. If that still isn't enough, each villa has a private beach front. The chef comes daily to discuss your lunch and dinner preferences. Massages and beauty treatments are possible in your villa or on the terrace.

You can make use of all facilities and activities of the Matemwe Lodge, such as diving, snorkelling, trips with the local dhows, kayaking, kite surfing, fishing, biking, cultural trips to the nearby villages and various other excursions over the island.
