Antsirabe

Also known as the "City of Water," Antsirabe is known for its colorful pousse-pousse (pedicabs), French colonial architecture and craft markets.

The city offers a welcome escape with its pleasant climate and picturesque lakes. You can enjoy relaxing baths in the thermal springs, explore craft workshops and experience the local culture. Antsirabe embodies the charm of Madagascar and offers a unique blend of history, culture and natural beauty.

You can go hiking through a unique landscape consisting of several hills with ridge lines, villages on the slope, houses made of bricks and thatched roofs, a colorful valley with rice fields: green, ocher, red, beige...
You walk from one village to another, from one house to another you meet farmers, craftsmen and blacksmiths.
The walks are organized by a local association, a partnership with young Malagasy from Antsirabe. The income is partly distributed among local villagers, so we contribute to the development of the region.
