Camp Kipwe

The camp features eight luxurious stylish rooms, all equipped with a bathroom under the stars. The central part of the restaurant, bar, lounge and reception area is built in a typical African style with many natural materials. On cool evenings you can sit here around the campfire.

Activities

From Camp Kipwe you can do a nature trip through the dramatic landscape of Damaraland in search of the (hard to find) desert elephants that look for food and water.   There are also many other kinds of animals and birds, which are fully adapted to the extreme conditions.

You can also do a nature walk guided by an experienced local guide.  This can tell you much about the emergence of the landscape and the many flora and fauna in the environment.  Extremely informative and a great opportunity to see and to photograph the beautiful landscape from up-close.

There is also the possibility for an excursion to Twyfelfontein.
