Chitabe Camp
Chitabe Camp is an exclusive safari camp located in the southeastern corner of the Okavango Delta, within the private Chitabe concession.
The camp offers an authentic safari experience with a strong focus on exceptional wildlife viewing, including frequent sightings of leopards, lions, cheetahs, and African wild dogs.
Chitabe features eight spacious luxury tents, each built on elevated wooden platforms and connected by raised walkways. Every generously sized tent includes a private veranda overlooking the surrounding bush, indoor and outdoor showers, a lounge area, a minibar, a Nespresso machine, and an advanced evaporative cooling system for comfort during the warmer days.
The camp’s central facilities include a thatched lounge and dining area, a bar carved from a single tree trunk, a library, a small swimming pool overlooking the plains, a fire pit (boma), and a small boutique.
Guests can enjoy game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, night drives, and guided walking safaris.
Chitabe Camp is accessible only by light aircraft and offers an intimate and comfortable base from which to explore the rich biodiversity of the Okavango Delta.
