Each of the 16 cottages have a veranda that offers spectacular views of the surrounding area, whilst maintaining your privacy. You can chose whether to sleep inside or outside... There are both inside and outdoor dining options, a swimming pool, bar and small gallery with Namibian art. 

The lodge is a perfect base for exploring the region with safari vehicles or on foot. The landscape varies from plains filled with pebbles to interesting rock formations. This is the territory of the desert elephant:  the daily crossing of herds over the riverbeds in search of water and food. You will also come across here, amongst others, the kudu, ostrich, springbok and jackals.

In the evening there is a campfire lit inside the courtyard, and in the distance with a drink at hand, you can hear the typical barking of the Jackals. On the flat roofs of the main building one can request the lights to be dimmed, and with the explanation from an astronomer, you can explore the very bright stars.
