Gombe Forest Lodge

Gombe Forest Lodge, Gombe Stream, Tanzania

The Gombe Forest Lodge is situated north of the park, on the shores of Lake Tanganyika.

All tents are beautifully furnished with a desk, bed lamp, a 2-person bed and en-suite facilities. The tents are built on wooden platforms, offering a perfect view over the lake and the sunset. Every effort has been made to lessen the impact on nature, in regards to the construction and the running of the this camp. It is the only camp in the park.

After the exertion of mountain climbing and the search for chimpanzees, Gombe Forest Lodge is indeed a perfect place to relax and be pampered.
