Irene Country Lodge

The Irene Country Lodge (4-stars) is located in the heart of the historic village of Irene. This village is situated between Johannesburg and Pretoria.

The hotel is beautifully located outside the racket and bustle of the big cities, in a landscape of large oak trees, a lake where many birds seek refuge and around two beautifully landscaped golf courses. After a day of touring, you can relax at the poolside or on the terrace of the tea garden. The lodge houses 123 rooms, all with air-conditioning, coffee and tea facilities in the room, satellite television, telephone, hairdryer and safe. Each room has a private balcony or terrace with a panoramic view overlooking the green meadows and the pool.

In the "Oak Bar" and in the " Meadow Green" restaurant, you can enjoy a good glass of South African wine and a superb meal.

The distance from Johannesburg International Airport is 20 to 30 minutes drive. The lodge is a wonderful base for both cities, but also a great place to start your trip or for the last night before your flight back to the Netherlands.
