Jao Camp
Jao Camp is situated on a large remote island, in a private reserve on the outskirt of the Moremi Game Reserve in the heart of the Delta. The camp has only 7 spacious, beautiful tents, each furnished with original handcrafts.
The tents consists of canvas and reed, each have an en-suite bathroom with an outdoor shower and lies in the shade of the surrounding trees. They are built on elevated platforms with a private veranda, which offers wonderful views of the surrounding bodies of water.
The villa has two identical tents (four beds in total) each with own en-suite facilities, sharing a lounge and dining area, private butler, kitchenette with private chef, a deck and private plunge pool, plus private vehicle and guide.
Both the lounge and restaurant have a pool and boma, whereby beneath the stars you can enjoy your meals, with wine from an excellent wine cellar.
In Jao, you can do both water and land safaris, depending on the high tides in Okavango. Activities consists of mokoro trips, boat trips, fishing, walking safaris, day and night safaris with 4x4's and bird watching. Jao also has a salon for a variety of massage therapies.
