Kichaka Kidogo
Perhaps the most raw and traditional way to enhance any safari experience, Kichaka Kidogo brings you right back to the basics of how safari exploration started.
The well designed and lightweight flycamp Kichaka Kidogo allows for a few days foray into the really wild sections of Ruaha Park. It can be erected within a few hours and allows you to drift deeper into the Wilderness once we have familiarised ourselves with the areas around Zumbua camp.
You explore new areas on foot without having to travel great distances several times daily to return to Kichaka Zumbua.
Set up along the banks of the Ruaha River itself this simple, yet comfortable flycamp can accommodate 6 guests in 3 tents each with adjoining private bucket showers and toilets. Travel cots ensure a good nights sleep, waking only for the night sounds before a full days exploration.
Meals will be prepared freshly on the camp fire while you nurse a cold beer and contemplate the next days activities.
Owner of Kichaka Expeditions is the world-renowned guide Andrew 'Molly' Molinaro. He personally guides the walking safaris in the park.
Kichaka Kidogo is closed from 01 December - 31 March.
