Ozondjou Trails

Ozondjou Trails tented camp is situated in the Ugab River in Damaraland. Ozondjou is the Herero word for 'elephants' and this is very fitting, because the camp is close to the base camp of the Elephant Human Relations Aid (EHRA).
Ozondjou Trails has 8 twin tents with twin beds, an en-suite shower, wash basin and flush toilet.
The main area consists of a mess tent with lounge area, dining table, that leads out to an outside sitting area at the fire pit with a view over the Ugab River.
Scrumptious meals are prepared outdoors on open fire to maintain the “on safari” atmosphere.
This camp is a “green” camp: electricity is partially generated by solar energy and water is supplied by a solar-driven water pump from boreholes in the areas.
It is only accessible by 4x4. No children under 16 years are allowed in camp, due to free-roaming elephants.
