4x4 Cars Iceland

For the most common routes through Iceland, a 'regular' car with all wheel drive or four wheel drive is more than sufficient.
If you are going on a more adventurous route, including off-road driving, a specially adapted car vehicle is required. Popularly known as Super Jeeps, these cars are equipped with custom suspension and 38- to 46-inch tires.

It is almost impossible to name all the different types of cars so we made a list of the vehicles used most.
