Planet Baobab
Planet Baobab is an adventurous accommodation suitable for everyone looking for something special and want to know more about the Botswana culture and traditions.
This camp is run by the community and consists of Baobab huts (without en-suite facilities), comfortable Bakalanga huts and a camping. The Bakalanga huts are traditional round clay cottages with en-suite facilities, a thatched rood, a small yard and nicely painted walls. The lodge is surrounded by thousands years old baobab trees.
Furthermore there is a small ambient restaurant with a bar and a cool swimming pool. At night you can enjoy a refreshing drink at the campfire.
Activities
Planet Baobab organizes several activities (short or multi-day):
- quad bike excursions through Ntwetwe Pan or Nxai Pan
- bush walks looking for wild animals and fossils
- visiting the local meerkats
- visit to a local village
