Ranomafana National Park
Ranomafana National Park is a haven for biodiversity. The park covers 416 square kilometers of tropical rainforest, on the slopes of the Namorona River valley.
This lush rainforest is home to a unique diversity of animals: no fewer than 12 different species of lemurs, including the endangered golden bamboo lemur, red ruffed lemurs, chameleons, and colorful bird species such as the Madagascar sunbird. The park is known for its lush vegetation, waterfalls and natural hot springs. As one of the most important biodiversity hotspots on the island, Ranomafana offers visitors an unforgettable experience amid the enchanting sounds of chirping crickets and the mysterious calls of lemurs.
