Sabyinyo Lodge, Parc National des Volcans, Rwanda

The Sabyinyo Lodge consists of 6 luxury, beautiful double stone cottages, 2 suites and a family suite, situated just minutes from the starting point of the gorilla treks in Parc National des Volcans.

All rooms have a sitting area with fireplace, a sheltered veranda and a beautiful en-suite bathroom with double sink, bath and separate shower. The family suite has a second bathroom. In the main building you will find a reception, a pleasant lounge, restaurant, library, a small souvenir shop and 2 patios with a view overlooking the surrounding pastures and the Virunga Volcanoes. Various activities are offered at the Sabyinyo Lodge.

The main activity is the tracking of gorillas. Per day, only a few people may visit the gorillas. A visit to a traditional village or a local market is also a possibility, as well as a walk through the green rainforest, where you can search for the many primates and other mammals that this park has.
