Siwandu

You overnight in one of the 13 individual safari tents, divided between North and Soutch Camp. The luxury tents are situated on the banks of Lake Nzerakera and have a beautiful view of the wildlife and dramatic sunsets of Selous. All tents have an open air en-suite bathroom with warm water. The elevated wooden deck offers a view overlooking the river with hippos, crocodiles and many bird species.

The four private suite tents with shared veranda and plunge pool (Private Camp) are especially for those who enjoy privacy, space and freedom. Ideal for a large family.

After a game drive, you can relax and rejuvenate in the pool. While the chef prepares your meal, you can enjoy a large collection of excellent wines that are available here.
Together with private autos, boats, guides, and a fantastic haute or fine dining cuisine, this camp offers the very best for the 'happy few' who stay here.

Children's Walk

To complement the addition of Family Rooms, Siwandu has added the Children's Walk to the game package. This activity is perfect for those under the walking age of 16, who wish to experience the thrill of walking on the wild side.  It will last up to an hour and will be bursting with fun facts and mini activities.  For safety the group will remain within the boundary of the camp, along the lake shore. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Star-Gazing

During pre-dinner drinks the managers and guides will offer an half hour insight into the universe, galaxies, meteorites and shooting stars with a focus on the brightest stars in the solar system, a range of constellations and planets visible from Selous.
