Sossusvlei Desert Lodge
The Sossusvlei Desert Lodge is located in the oldest desert with the highest sand dunes in the world and is famous for its stylish desert experience which is offered here.
Ten Suites and 1 Star Dune Suite (family suite) are built in a rock at the foot of an old mountain. The villa's offer you complete privacy and are stylishly furnished and equipped with all conveniences, including air conditioning. From each villa you have a breathtaking view over the plains. From your king-size bed you look through the glass roof window to the stars. The swimming pool is filled from an underground source and from the terrace you can endlessly enjoy the view.
Activities
You can participate in the activities which are organized by the lodge (included). In the cool morning or evening there are possibilities to make a trip through the untouched nature with an open 4x4 safari car. Picnic excursions to Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon are also organized.
You can also take a guided walk through the wonderful sand dunes. The guide can tell you everything about the bizarre life of flora and fauna in this region.
Special routes have also been set up for riding the quad bike. The guide accompanies you, so you can learn a lot from some of his amazing stories.
