Tarangire Treetops
Tarangire TreeTops has 20 luxurious en-suite rooms in the tops of various trees, such as the Baobab, Mopani and wild fig-trees.
Each room has a private veranda and a lounge with a breathtaking sight over the Tarangire Sand River, a private reserve. The restaurant is situated beside the swimming pool and the waterhole of the elephants. The lodge also offers the unique possibility for nightly game drives and game walks, as well as a small trajectory for mountain biking. All excursions are guided by armed rangers who have an excellent knowledge of the bush.
Tarangire TreeTops lies in the Tarangire Conservation Area. During the wet season the animals migrate along the lodge to the bordering Tarangire National Park. The area has a unique eco-system with many wild animal species such as the buffalo, lion, cheetah, leopard and elephant. Large herds of elephants regularly pass by the lodge to drink in the Sands River. This occurs year around.
