Ziwani Lodge

Ziwani Lodge is located on an escarpment overlooking Lake Eyasi; a seasonal shallow endorheic salt-lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley at the base of the Serengeti Plateau.

Ziwani Lodge offers sophisticated accommodation with just 7 cottages (including 1 family cottage). All the cottages have a roof top star gazing terrace for guests to enjoy at night and if they wish they may also have it set up so as to sleep under the stars.
The main lodge building, with lounge, bar and restaurant, as well as all the rooms have stunning views toward the Rift.
Ziwani Lodge boasts of a beautiful swimming pool for cooling off on hot afternoons. Massages can be booked in the privacy of your room.
The local chefs here are the creators of fine bush cuisine, using fresh produce from the garden as well as the local farmer of the area, to offer a menu that will tantalize.

Activities: walking safaris, visits to the Hadazabe hunter-gatherers and to the Datoga people.
